Read and Write privileges can be defined by user, folder, discussion, or document. Q: Does it let you collaborate through firewalls? A: The upload capabilities are based on support from the browser. Some firewalls allow pass thru and some don't. A: Forum 2.0 does not include any videoconferencing capabilities, but that certainly does not preclude you from using CUSeeMe, for instance, on your system. A: The AltaVista Forum V2.0 product, with the exception of the Newspaper application, will work fine with non-frames browsers. Q: Can some of the functions be taken off of the forum product - is it customizable? A: It is possible to customize the Tcl code, such that functions can be taken off the AV Forum product.
